With an anti-candida book in the works, I’ve been thinking a lot about which foods are best for combating the yeasty beast. If you’re trying to overcome CRC (candida related complex), one of the best natural foods you can eat is coconut.
Coconut contains powerful natural antifungals called capyrilic acid and lauric acid. It’s thought that they both kill the candida while supporting healthy bacteria that should exist in the digestive tract. And I must admit, before I started an anti-candida diet (ACD), I wasn’t a huge fan of coconut. These days, it’s rare for a day to pass when I don’t consume it in one form or another.
So of course I was thrilled when I spotted this opportunity on Go Dairy Free to submit some of my recipes to the So Delicious 3-Course Recipe Contest! The contest actually calls for recipes made with any of the So Delicious products, but since I tend to love the coconut beverage the most, I found several recipes using it.
