It’s Father’s Day! Looks like The Girls are all ready for Dad’s Big Day. . . .
“Hey, Elsie!! It’s Father’s Day! That means a whole special day of playing and having fun with Dad! Let’s go. . . .”
“C’mon, Elsie, it’s time to go! We’ve gotta hurry and wake up Dad so he can throw the baseball for me us. . . or maybe–“
“. . .. the tennis ball? Oh, it’s so hard to choose! And then Dad gets to take us for an extra long walk, and he gets to treat us to special treats on this special day, and then he’ll share his special thing–what’s that called, ‘Barbie Kew??’, with us! Ohh, I LOVE Father’s Day!! And then, after we go for a swim in the pond, then we can–“
“Zip it, Chaser. It’s called Father’s Day because the day is for HIM, not for us! That means we let Dad do what HE wants to do today. Like, for instance, sleep in until he’s ready to play.”
“Whaaaa–?!! Oh, no, how will I ever survive such a wait. . . . . “
“Well, okay, Elsie, I suppose I can wait an extra. . . oh, ten minutes or so. . . . See how nicely we’re waiting for you, Dad? C’mon, Dad!”
“Well, Dad, I did my best. But Chaser is unstoppable. . . HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!”
Hope all the dads out there have a fantastic Father’s Day, however you spend it! 🙂

Adorable Ricki! You totally captured their thoughts 🙂 xoxox
Thanks, Maggie! It’s not too difficult, believe me. . .they usually make their thoughts very well known. 😉
Such wonderful Father’s Day thoughts from the girls! I daresay that all daughters and sons go through this dilemma on who this special day is really about. 😉 But if all can have fun, it’s a win-win. 🙂
