It’s almost time for Chocolate Day Long-Stemmed Roses Day Cheesy Greeting Card Day Valentine’s Day, which means eating way more sweet stuff than you may be used to. Ever since I started an anti-candida diet back in 2009, I’ve sought out healthy, low glycemic treats for the Day of Love each year. I mean, if I’m expressing love for my HH that day, shouldn’t my food choices express love for him, too?
So today I present you with some of my very favorite refined sugar-free, lower glycemic confections that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. The recipes are all refined sugar-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free, and they range between Stage One and Maintenance of an anti-candida diet (be sure the sweeteners used are ones you can enjoy). Because really, why not spread that love around?
