I’ve been where you are and have come out to thrive on the other side. I found a way to heal from candida on a diet free of sugar, gluten, eggs, dairy, animal products, yeast, and more--and learned how to stick with it while still living an active, fun and fulfilling life.

The first thing everyone noticed was my weight loss and they wanted to know what I was doing. So I shared this eating plan with them AND I also took samples for them to taste of the chocolate chip cookies and sweet biscuits. They loved it!! . . . . I also let them know how my liver spots on my face were fading and almost non-existent, the energy I had gained and no brain fog!! . . . . Rose, the hygienist, couldn't believe that she didn't have to do any "scraping"--normally this is very minimal but at this appointment, absolutely nothing to scrape. What a light bulb moment! After almost two decades of eating a “restricted” diet, ten years of blogging and writing three special-diet cookbooks, I’ve learned a thing or two about how to make delicious food with “restricted” ingredients. I’ve learned tricks about how to reproduce favorites like mac ‘n cheese, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, buttercream frosting, plus long-time favorites for breakfast, snacks, lunches, dinners and desserts.

On the 6th day I noticed a huge increase in my energy level. I was able to get out of bed as soon as the alarm went off without hitting snooze, get an entire to-do list accomplished and cook- all without needing to stop to take a break.
The second week . . . I found that I was much more focused at work and with the brain fog starting to fade, I suddenly had more clarity which made me more productive.
The biggest change over all for me is the decrease in inflammation. Because of chronic pain issues I have to apply cold compresses regularly and on the 10th day into the program I found that the temperature I normally rarely even feel was freezing cold on my shoulder. When I felt around the area it dawned on me that it was cold because the inflammation I’m so used to living with had decreased dramatically. . . . I was thrilled!

We'll chat once every 2 weeks to keep you on track, review your diet, supplements and treatments, establish a positive mindset and how to stick with it, as well as deal with all the daily challenges that come up when you eat a diet that's different from the diet of those around you.
I'll be your personal guide and cheerleader, with unlimited email support in between our calls. It's like having a best girlfriend on call--except one who knows exactly what you're going through, and how to handle it with ease.
I really felt like I had a brilliant friend in my corner to pick me up and help me on my way. Never did my sessions with Ricki feel like a business transaction! I knew right away that her main concern is helping and teaching people. . . my sessions exceeded my expectations.
I'm not a natural in the kitchen, so I was worried that cooking ACD recipes that were filling tasty would be complicated and overwhelming. Ricki took the time to find the most simple recipes for me to begin with and was my biggest cheerleader as I gained the confidence to branch out and try different things (and let me tell you, her recipes are DELICIOUS).
She responded to all of my e-mails promptly and warmly. . . and even though her knowledge about nutrition is extensive, she always found a way to explain things in a way that I could grasp without feeling overwhelmed.

For ongoing, personalized support as you continue with your special diet protocol, this 3-month (6 session) package offers longer-term strategies and one-on-one support with Ricki for up to 12 weeks.
We'll meet by phone, Skype, or online to speak live approximately once every two weeks. Your initial session sets the stage for our work together, where we'll go through your dietary protocol and "yes/no" food lists, your diagnosis and current treatments to get an in-depth understanding of your current situation and goals.
In subsequent calls, approximately once every two weeks, we'll work through the key areas of balancing digestion, eating to heal leaky gut, and foods or supplements to support detoxification in order to restore balance and keep you moving toward improved health.
In addition, on every call we'll examine your food and what you can or cannot eat, how that may have changed since the previous call, and will allow you to feel totally at home with your new diet by helping you become familiar with new ingredients, how to use them, how to cook with them, and new recipes that will offer you foolproof, delicious, "can't-tell-them-from-regular" dishes you can share with anyone.
In between calls, you'll be supported 24/7 via unlimited email. I will be your personal guide and mentor when it comes to learning, adapting to, and excelling on your new diet--so that you can sit back, relax, and continue to eat fabulous food even as you provide all the healing support your body needs.
Following each check-in, you'll receive supporting materials (notes, recipes, tips sheets) to use along the way to ensure your long-term success.
