  3. This is awesome Ricki!! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

  4. Just read your interview with Shellyfish! Yum! Sounds great and congrats!

  5. I bought it I bought it omg!

  6. Congratulations Ricki – I’ll bet finally seeing a finished copy is such a sigh of relief and a fabulous feeling at the same time.
I’m going to order some copies from Amazon.

Hope sales go through the roof.

  7. I just ordered my copy from Amazon! WOO-HOO! Can’t wait :)

  8. My copy finally arrived! Woo-Hoo! It is a beautiful book and I cannot wait to delve into the deliciousness. I reccommended your book to a mom who just recently discovered her daughter has allergies to wheat, dairy, eggs and soy, but she has no idea how to bake without them…now her daughter will be able to have her cake, too!

Awesome job on this Ricki, absolutely beautiful!

I would very much like to buy your book Ricki. On Amazon you mentioned that the second edition would come out in September. But I called the publisher earlier today and they didn’t seem to know anything about this. Please let me know when I can get the new edition as I would rather buy the book with the corrections. I hope it is soon because it looks great! Many thanks.

  10. veggiegal13 says:

Hi Ricki, (I sent this as a regular email reply to you but got an automated answer. I know that you are very busy and I don’t want to bother you. I just want to find out when the next edition will come out. Many thanks.)

Thanks for getting back to me. By the way, I found out about the book from Nava Atlas’ e-newsletter.

It is too bad that you are having trouble with the publisher. The price you are selling it for is a great one. I will think about it for a week or two. Perhaps you will find out more about the second edition by next month. If it is going to be a long wait then I just might buy the first edition because I really want it. Keep me posted on what is happening with the book.

By the way, I really like your sight. Looking forward to buying the book soon and good luck with the publisher.

    Ciao,

    Sharon

  11. veggiegal13 says:

    Hi Ricki,

Well, keep me posted on what happens with that second edition. If it is going to be a long time for it to come out then I will probably buy the first edition when it goes on sale next month. It sounds like a great book.

As I said, please keep me posted (I sent this via regular email as well).

    Ciao,

    Sharon

  12. veggiegal13 says:

    Hi Ricki,

It is veggiegal 13 here again (Sharon). I am wondering if you heard anything new from your publisher about a second edition of the book. Any possibility of it being republished soon?

I remember you said that starting in October you were going to sell the book for $25 (including shipping) to people in the US and Canada. Are you still going to do that? It is possible, and there is not going to be a second edition in the near future, I would like to buy a copy if it is possible. If it is not then I will just buy the book from Amazon.

I see that one of your bloggers converts the recipes to gluten free. It would be interesting to try and make them both ways. I am glad that quinoa flour is not used as I have developed a strange allergy to quinoa.

Well, that’s it for now. Please let me know about the book when you can (I might try to send you a regular email as well). Ciao.

  13. veggiegal13 says:

Hi Ricki, I want to order the book right away. However, you don’t know when it will be shipped out. I want to have it sent to my work address. However, I don’t know that the status of my job will be after the first part of November. We are having a fundraiser in early November and everything seems to depend on how that goes. If I submit my work address and something happens (I am not saying that it will but just in case) will I be able to change the shipping address and how would I be able to do that. Thank you very much.

  14. veggiegal13 says:

    Hi Ricki,

Oh, I am aware that you are the one mailing the books and that will be time consuming. If I order the book from you tomorrow after I get home from work I would guess that I will get it before November. If it is a problem then I can order it from Amazon. It would be a bit more money but I don’t want you going crazy trying to get the book out. But I would rather order it directly from you. And, of course, I know that the address could not be changed once the book was mailed. So, if you think that I would get the book before November just let me know and I will place the order tomorrow night.

    Thank you very much.

  15. veggiegal13 says:

Hi Ricki, I just ordered the book directly from you via Paypal. I look forward to receiving it. Please let me know when it ships. I liked your review of Clean Food.

    Many thanks.

  16. I picked a good day to visit, Ricki. May the luckiest cook win!

  17. Oop! Looks like this is an old post?

  18. Hi Ricki, If i live in Toronto, Could I perhaps pick it up from you to save on delivery charges (and emissions!)?
    – Emily

  20. This looks like a pretty good Christmas gift. My mother loves this type of stuff, even though it’s not my absolute favorite. I’ll eat it for her though..

I clicked to buy ebook of Sweet Freedom and paypal page appeared but nothing else to indicate sale of book – please let me know what to do. Thank you.

    • Siewleng, I’ve just checked the page and it seems to be working for me. What do you see when you click? Is there a blue box at the top with the name of the book and price?

  24. Cassandra Renz says:

I wanted to purchase your 3 ACD cookbook deal. I live in Alaska (United States) and your Paypal service is not set up for an US address. Please advise.
    Thank you,
    Cassandra

    • Cassandra, my PayPal account is set up to receive US funds. There’s no need for an actual address when you order ebooks–they will be sent as pdf files to your email address. If you order the hard copy of Sweet Freedom, there is a space in which to write your mailing address (and then I’ll mail the book directly to you). Hope that helps! :)

      • Cassandra says:

I just ordered it successfully – I am not sure what happened yesterday – maybe yeast brain, lol. (?)
        Thanks!

  25. Cassandra says:

Thanks! I will try again. =) Cassandra

  26. James Grant Smith says:

Hi Ruth, Really looking forward to your new book, but it’s like the equivalent of $200 on the Amazon UK site, do you think I could order it directly or get a PDF copy?

    Thanks
    James
